Well, just after months of the launch of the Oppo A83, the company has launched the Oppo A83 2018 version, which comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of Internal Storage. The price of Oppo A83 is Rs. 27,490 in Nepal which is a little more than its predecessor.&nbsp;
The Oppo A83 has a 5.7&rdquo; TFT LCD Display with 720&times;1440 screen resolution. It has the new aspect ratio rather than the usual 16:9 aspect ratio. Thankfully though, there's no notch on the phone. While the phone may not pack the crispiest of a display, it is large and is very detailed. Watching movies and playing games is an immersive experience.&nbsp;

The phone is powered by MediaTek Helio P23 SoC. It has got GPU Mali G71 MP2 which is a really decent performing one. It gets the job done but isn't as fast or as powerful&nbsp;as the Qualcomm SoCs. In the next generation, I would definitely want to see Qualcomm chipset make a return.
The Oppo A83 has a wide range of variants that come with either 2GB, 3GB or 4GB of RAM configuration. In Nepali market, we are getting the Oppo A83 2018 with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. It is good to see companies providing higher RAM these days.&nbsp;
The company states this phone as Selfie centred. We have an 8 MP f/2.2 sensor up front. At the back, the A83 (2018) has a 13 MP with f/2.2 aperture. Unfortunately though, just like its predecessor, the phone is offering no dual camera system.
On the front, there's also an option to unlock the phone using the face recognition. For the selfie lovers out there, the new Oppo A83 uses AI for enhancing photos using new beauty recognition technology.
