<p>The issue of vehicle production in Nepal has been widely discussed in the past three decades along with the issue of Tata Motors producing vehicles in Nepal. <strong>Hulas Autocraft</strong> has been producing Bajaj motorcycles since 3 years ago. Last year, the South Korean company, Motrex, announced that it would invest <strong>Rs 2 billion</strong> to produce the vehicle.</p>
<p>Since then, various companies have registered their companies in the industry department to produce/assemble their vehicles. The data for the production of vehicles in Nepal by the fiscal year 2075/76 shows that 20 different companies have been registered for the opening manufacturing industry.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">Vehicle producers are in tune with the government's policy of giving priority to <strong>production-oriented industries</strong> rather than imports. The entrepreneurs were demanding that customs tariffs on the import of finished goods and raw materials for production should be reduced by two levels. But through the current fiscal year's budget, Finance Minister <strong>Dr. Yuvraj Khatiwada</strong> has announced that customs tariffs will be reduced by importing raw materials for production.</p>
<p>The industrialists who registered the company in the Department of Industry for the purpose of producing vehicles, however, do not seem to be excited by the government's plan.</p>
<p>According to the Department of Industries, <strong>Hulas Autocraft, Laxmi Motor Corporation Pvt. Ltd</strong>. have also registered to make two wheels and four wheels and vehicles larger than that.</p>
