Even though the Galaxy J2 is an entry-level smartphone, Samsung hasn’t skimped on the hardware. The phone gets a 5-inch Super AMOLED QHD Display. The panel is one of the best in class. However, it would have been great if the company could at least put a 720p panel on the phone.
Powering this phone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC which really is a decent offering for the price. There’s also 2GB of RAM onboard. Other than that, you get 16GB of Internal storage which is further expandable using the dedicated Micro-SD Card slot.
The phone also gets 4G LTE support letting you surf the Internet at fast speeds. And as you might expect, the phone gets a Dual-SIM slot. Other features of the phone include Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer Sensor as well as GPS.
The Galaxy J2 2018 has 2600mAh battery. While the capacity may not sound much, it’s enough to get through a days’ work. Sadly though, charging this phone takes a lot of time. There’s no support of quick or fast charging of any kind.
The price of Samsung Galaxy J2 2018 in Nepal is Rs. 14,590. The phone competes with the Xiaomi Redmi 5A in Nepal.
