Apple hosted an online event dubbed "Spring Loaded" on April 20. The event was full of announcements about the different new products of Apple. Apple's new iPad Pro with the powerful M1 chip
Apple unveiled its new iPad Pro and the device flaunts the M1 chip which is the same chip that powers the MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and Mac mini. Only the 12.9 inch model of iPad Pro comes with a Liquid Retina XDR display which uses 10,000 mini LEDs. Both 11 and 12.9-inch models of the iPad pro have a 12MP ultrawide camera with a Center Stage feature that follows a moving subject during a video call.
The 11-inch iPad starts at $799 while the price for the 12.9-inch model starts at $1099.
Apple iMac with the M1 chip
The new iMac from Apple comes with the M1 chip and has seven different color options. With a 24-inch screen, the new iMac has a 1080p FaceTime camera and the device is incredibly thin. Also, the new wireless keyboard for the iMac now has a Touch ID.
The price for the new Apple iMac starts at $1,299.
Purple iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini
Apple announced that they will be releasing iPhone 12 and 12 mini in a new purple color on April 30th.
"AirTag" Apple's new item trackers
Apple unveiled its item trackers called AirTag which you can use to track your belongings. The AirTag can be used with Apple's Find My app. The tracker is priced at $29.
Apple TV 4K with an A12 Bionic chip and redesigned Apple TV remote
The Apple TV 4K will be powered by an A12 Bionic chip. The addition of A12 will make the Apple TV capable of playing HDR videos at high frame rates and also support 60fps Dolby Vision playback. The new Apple TV remote also gets a design upgrade, with an aluminum build the remote now has a click pad and you also get a Siri button.
The price for the Apple TV 4K starts at $179 for the 32GB model.
Apple launching Subscription to the Podcast app
Apple also announced that they are adding subscriptions to the Podcast app. The subscriptions will let the users experience ad-free listening and the feature will launch in 170 regions and countries starting from May.
