Why East 2 West Road Trip:

D-Lifestyle Pvt. Ltd., the sole authorized distributor of Vespa and Aprilia in Nepal has organized a fundraiser road trip from east to west of Nepal. The event was performed in collaboration with the Collaborative Schools Network (CSN).

CSN has been managing three public schools in Kathmandu in Public Private Partnership model – two in Budhanilkantha Municipality and one in Mahalaxmi Municipality. Shree Bhanodaya Basic School, Siddhipur (155 students), Shree Jana Uddhar Secondary School, Budhanilkantha (225 students), and Madan Ashrit Adarsha Basic School, Budhanilkantha (100 students) with a total of 480 Students.

Three fellow members after completing fellowship from Teach For Nepal thought of registering an organization and started managing public schools, as a result, the number of students is increasing in all three schools with higher attendance. Each school has placed two school leaders from Teach For Nepal who manages further.

Two years before, one of the schools had less than 20 students and the government decided to close the school but as these members took the responsibility, within 2 years have more than 150 regular students and running classes from Nursery to Grade 5.

With a mission to continue D-lifestyle’s Corporate Social Responsibility, they have raised funds to those 480 students throughout this ride with participants donating Nrs. 2000 used for school uniforms.
