The Aprilia Storm 125 has finally launched in the Indian Market. The scooter was already showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo in India.
The new Aprilia Strom 125 is the cheapest offering by Aprilia brand compared to all its other models. The two-wheeler will rival against other scooters like TVS NTorq and the Honda Grazia. Well, let’s go over the brief overview of the new Aprilia Storm 125.
Overview
Speaking of the scooter’s outlook, the two-wheeler comes with a bold design along with eye-catching paint scheme and alluring graphics. Similarly, going onto the other features, the lights and bodywork is similar to that of the SR 125 while it also consists of the same analog instrument cluster.
The major feature that varies it from SR 125 is the wheel-size as it comes with 12-inch alloy wheels opposing to 14-inch wheels on SRs. Additionally, the Storm 125 also misses the front disc brake as it has drum brakes at both the ends, with CBS. Other noted differences in the scooter are minor such as an additional grab handle and while colored Aprilia logo on the front, unlike the previous ones which has red.
The Aprilia Storm 125 gets off-road-oriented tires which can easily provide comfort in rough roads too. This implies that this scooter can be an ideal choice for scooter riders in Nepal as there are tons of rough roads available in the country. The front tire measures 120/80 while the rear one measures 130/80. The most eye-catching feature in the scooter is its bold graphic which makes it stand out of the crowd.
Apparently, talking of the engine and performance traits, the Storm 125 inherits the identical engine features as the SR 125. The two-wheeler gets the same single-cylinder three-valve-air-cooled engine which produces 9.5 BHP at 7250rpm and 9.9Nm torque at 6250rpm.
Talking of the color options, the new Aprilia Storm 125 is available in two colors options: Matte Yellow and Matte Red.

Price and Availability
The scooter has now only been launched in India while it will soon be launched in Nepal too. The scooter will compete against TVS Ntorq and Honda Grazia as they have the same cc engine and drum brakes on both sides. Coming to the price, it is only INR 8000 less than the SR 125.
