Bajaj Motorcycles has started the production of its new motorcycle which might possibly arrive with an engine capacity of 400cc. It has been reported that the company has been working on the production of this new motorcycle (Pulsar 400) in Indonesia.
Just some weeks ago, the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 was also unveiled in the Indonesian market. Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 is a full faired motorcycle for the Indonesian market. The upcoming Bajaj Pulsar RS 400 will be an upgraded version of this model.

The upcoming Bajaj 400cc motorcycle will be the flagship model of Bajaj while in terms of looks, it is expected to emit aggressive looks. Adopting sporty looks, it will sport a huge fairing with a larger fuel tank with a capacity of around 15L. This one will so be coming with a dual-channel ABS feature.

Mechanically, the new Pulsar RS400 will be powered by a 373.22cc triple-spark fi engine which is expected to deliver a power of 42bhp at 9000rpm along with a peak torque of 34.5Nm at 7000rpm. The bike&rsquo;s engine will be mated with a 6-speed gearbox transmission while hit a top speed of 165km/h approximately. More on, the 400cc Bajaj motorcycle would provide a mileage of 22-25km/l.

<h3>Price and Availability</h3>
Bajaj has not officially unveiled the pricing and other details of the motorcycle yet. However, as per reports, the motorcycle is expected to be offered in two variants: ABS and Non-ABS. Coming on to the pricing, the non-ABS Pulsar RS 400 might cost around INR 1.6 lakhs while the ABS variant might hold a price tag of INR 1.8 lakhs. This might compete against the KTM RC 390. Benelli TNT300, Yamaha R3, TVS Apache RR 310, and so on.
The upcoming Bajaj Pulsar RS 400 might be launched around the month of August.
