5 Reasons why Suzuki Brezza has become a successful SUV in Nepal

In the auto arena where there is resilient competition in the SUV segment, carmakers are fighting a competitive battle to heighten their sales graph.

Currently, key players like Suzuki, Hyundai, Kia have been the best-sellers in the sub 4M SUV segment. Suzuki’s popular subcompact SUV- Brezza has become the best-seller for last month (January).

Both in India and Nepal, Suzuki Brezza has remained the first choice for budget SUV lovers.

Well, what makes Suzuki Brezza an unbeatable competitor in the market? Let’s explore the 5 reasons which might make you believe that.

5 Reasons why Maruti Suzuki Brezza is very Popular in Nepal

1.5-liter capacity petrol engine

Brezza, which has been available in the Nepali market since 2016, was previously only available on diesel engines. In the year 2020, the company had introduced Breza in the petrol engine. The company has completely shut down its 1.3-liter diesel engine as soon as the petrol engine arrived.

Maruti Suzuki seems to have succeeded in attracting customers of Creta and Seltos by giving a 1.5-liter capacity engine in a sub-four meter SUV. Although slightly smaller than the Creta and Seltos’ engines in terms of power, the size-based power makes the car a very competitive model. Its engine provides 103 PS of power.

Excellent mileage and low maintenance costs

Maruti Suzuki's main USP is mileage. The company, which has been campaigning for 'Kitne Deti Hai' in India from the very beginning, has made Brezza’s mileage very good. It gives easy mileage of 15 kilometers per liter on highways and 12 kilometers per liter on urban roads. Also, users say that the maintenance cost of Maruti Suzuki is relatively low than other top brands.

Bulky design and spacious cabin

At a glance, the traditional and tall-looking Brezza is less than 4 meters in size. The frontal fascia is muscular and the interior part is sporty as well. Compared to the Nexon, Magnite, Kiger, Venue, and Sonet available in this segment, the length of Breza which looks bigger is only 3995 mm. The length of all the vehicles mentioned here is the same.

The Brezza has a width of 1790 mm and a height of 1640 mm. It has 2500mm wheelbase and 198mm ground clearance.

Good Resale value and Suzuki's brand name

Most of the Maruti Suzuki models have good resale prices. Like small and low-priced cars, SUVs also have good resale value. Although manufactured by Maruti Suzuki India, Brezza is still reaping the benefits of its reputation as a Suzuki car in Nepal.

Competitive Pricing

The company has been selling Brezza in two variants. The Brezza VXI has priced at Rs 43.49 lakh and the ZXI Plus is priced at Rs 48.24 lakh. The company has also made available a dual-tone variant of ZXI Plus. This variant costs 48.54 lakhs in Nepal.
