Hyundai Creta is the best-selling automatic car in Nepal. An automatic gearbox is available in two variants of Creta being sold by Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt. Ltd. Nepal.

Creta SX and SX (O) are available in the CVT gearbox. The company has been selling these two variants at a price of Rs 68.96 lakh and Rs 74.96 lakh respectively.

Hyundai has given a 1.5-liter capacity MPI petrol engine in both variants. With a capacity of 1497 cc, the four-cylinder, four-valve, DOHC engine delivers 115 PS of power at a maximum of 6300 rpm and 144 Nm of torque at 4500 rpm. As certified by ARAI, it provides a mileage of up to 17 kilometers. However, in cities in Kathmandu, the mileage drops to 12km/l.

This automatic Creta variant has been the best-selling model that eases the driver in the increasing traffic jam of urban areas. Introduced to the market as a feature-loaded SUV, the Creta features four-wheeled disc brakes, 17-inch alloy wheels, and power-assisted steering wheels.
