Bugatti, the luxury car manufacturer brand based in Molsheim had recently announced the launch of the famous Bugatti Chiron prototype. While launching the speed test of the vehicle (prototype), it has been observed that the vehicle has exceeded the 300 mph mark, i.e. 490km/hr which is, in fact, the highest speed. That&rsquo;s exhilarating! Isn&rsquo;t it?

The prototype was driven by British driver Andy Wallace at Volkswagen Ehra Lessien test track where the Chiron set a new speed world record of 304.773 mph/490.484 km/h. Bugatti Chiron is the first-ever car to exceed the 300 miles per hour speed. Therefore, Bugatti has been able to set the world record for being the fastest car in the world.
Glancing at the recent photos of the car, it can be presumed that new Chiron had received some good modifications on the body and other facets such as a longer rear to keep the tires on the ground even while accelerating at the top speed. Similarly, there has been made the use of carbon fiber for weight and balance of the vehicle. However, Bugatti is again set to make some additional changes in the original vehicle. The original Bugatti Chiron is powered by an 8-liter, 16-cylinder engine which delivers a power of 1500bhp while the original might even be more powerful and faster than the prototype.&nbsp;

In the past speed records, the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport was able to reach 267 miles per hour on the same track in the year 2010. Similarly, after 7 years, the Swedish manufacturer Koenigsegg had managed to reach the speed of 285 mph which was, in fact, the highest up to now. However, after the recent speed test of Bugatti Chiron, the beast has again been able to rest at the top beating Koenigsegg after 2 years.
