The BYD Seal offers impressive charging capabilities to ensure quick and efficient energy replenishment. It supports AC charging power up to 11 kW, making it convenient for overnight home charging. For faster charging needs, the Seal can handle DC charging power up to 150 kW, significantly reducing downtime. With a 150 kW DC charger, the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% State of Charge (SOC) in approximately 37 minutes, or from 30% to 80% SOC in just 26 minutes.

Colors and Images
The BYD Seal offers four different standard colors:

- Aurora white
- Cosmos black

All these colors will be available for each three variants (Dynamic, Premium, and performance) of the car. The brand also offers two optional colors; shadow green, and indigo grey but at additional cost. Unfortunately, the optional color option is not available in Nepal.

BYD Seal Price in Nepal
The BYD Seal price ranges from 1.1 crore to 1.95 crore. Because of the recent electric vehicles tax policies for Nepalese fiscal year 2081/82 the price for the car has increased with the increase in customs duties. The car now costs 5-10 lakhs more than its initial released price.

The BYD Seal’s Dyanamic variant falls into a different tax category than the Premium and Performance variants because of the motor capacities, and because of this, the ratio of price change is different for each variant.
The Seal Dynamic’s custom duties rose by 10%, and excise duties remained unchanged. For the Premium and Performance variants, the customs duties rose by 20% followed by a 10% reduction in excise duty.
