What to do when your car’s battery is not working properly?

No matter what type of fuel your car runs on, be it petrol or diesel, battery power is the most essential factor to start your car. Once the car engine starts, it doesn’t matter even if there is no battery. However, it is almost impossible to start the car’s engine without the power of the battery.
To get the battery in the car charged, at first the engine needs to be started. Even if the battery is discharged, if the car is started with any other means, the battery will gradually start charging itself.
It happens to us most of the time during the winter season that our car’s battery gets completely discharged when we wake up in the morning. This scenario mostly occurs when you park the car at night and forget to turn off the lights completely.
Even if your car is not much older and you have kept it in the garage for around 15-20 days without starting it, it might be completely discharged. However, if the battery is discharged only after parking for some time, then there may be a problem related to electric wiring.
If the battery is discharged, the starter will not run and consequently, the vehicle will not start. In this car, we can jump-start the car by pulling the line from the battery of another car to start ours. This is probably the most common and easiest way. If the battery is in good condition after the vehicle is started, it will gradually charge by itself.

Similarly, the other way is to charge the battery from an external charger. For this, you need to fully charge the battery which might take up to 7-8 hours. However, if the battery is not working, the battery will not charge. In this car, the battery must be changed to disallow further hassle.
