The Ariya Single Seater Concept explores what a future electrified performance style for Nissan could look like.
Design cues from the all-new Nissan Ariya all-electric SUV can be seen across the Ariya Single Seater Concept. At the front of the vehicle is the electrified and illuminated “V” motion, familiar with Nissan’s current road car design language. At the side view, inspiration has been taken from Ariya’s fluid and efficient surfaces, exaggerated to a maximum in carbon fiber. Overall, the Nissan Ariya Single Seater Concept describes a form that, as with the Ariya, looks like it was shaped by the air itself.

Nissan races in the all-electric world championship to bring the excitement and fun of zero-emission electric vehicles to a global audience, and to be at the cutting edge of EV research and design.
In the same way, the high-performance potential of the Ariya’s powertrain in a motorsports-inspired package not only hints at the design and styling of the road car that inspired it but also demonstrates a new and efficient EV performance language.
Toyota LQ: The Emotional AI Companion
The Toyota LQ is a futuristic, all-electric concept car that goes beyond transportation by incorporating an Emotional AI companion. The LQ's AI, named Yui, learns from the driver's preferences and emotions, personalizing the driving experience and even engaging in conversation. This innovative technology aims to create a more enjoyable and connected driving experience.
Toyota Motor Corporation (Toyota) today announced the "LQ", a concept vehicle that leverages advanced technology to build an emotional bond between car and driver. The next generation of the Toyota "Concept-i", a concept vehicle first exhibited at the 2017 Consumer Electronics Show, LQ is equipped with automated driving capabilities and "Yui," a powerful artificial intelligence-powered interactive agent designed to learn from the driver and deliver a personalized mobility experience.
As a mobility company, Toyota believes that when people are free to move, anything is possible. This vision is built on the understanding that mobility goes beyond physical transportation to include the human need to be moved and engaged emotionally.
LQ follows this philosophy under the core development theme of "Learn, Grow, and Love." Yui and LQ's automated driving technologies, both developed in partnership with Toyota Research Institute (TRI), combine to create a unique mobility experience that builds the relationship between vehicle and driver by learning from and responding to individual preferences and needs. The name expresses Toyota's hope that this approach will "cue" the development of future vehicles that enhance the relationship between car and driver.

Volkswagen ID. Space Vizzion: The Electric Wagon of the Future
On the eve of the Los Angeles Auto Show, Volkswagen presented the seventh concept car of the ID. family. The ID. SPACE VIZZION follows the ID.01, ID. CROZZ01, ID. BUZZ01, ID. VIZZION01, ID. BUGGY01 and ID. ROOMZZ01. Like all the ID. models, the new ID. SPACE VIZZION will be fully electric.

Moreover, advanced technologies, such as augmented reality and autonomous driving capabilities, further enhance the driving experience.
The ID. SPACE VIZZION fully exploits the benefits offered by the MEB. Thanks to the compact dimensions of the electric drive and a battery integrated in the floor, the interior space provided is more reminiscent of a long-wheelbase premium sedan than a mid-range model. It is not only the electric drive that makes the ID. SPACE VIZZION a sustainable vehicle, but also the materials used in the interior. These are consistently made of sustainable materials such as the new AppleSkin™ – an artificial leather containing an amount of residual material from apple juice production. In addition, no chrome is used in the interior of the ID. SPACE VIZZON – it is replaced by a chrome-like paint finish.
With its fully digitalised cockpit, the ID. SPACE VIZZION defines a new status quo in terms of intuitive control. For the first time, all relevant driving information is shown in an AR head-up-display (AR: augmented reality).
Instead of the classic cockpit, there is a mini display containing only basic driving information. All entertainment, comfort and online functions, as well as vehicle settings are grouped together on a 15.6-inch touchscreen which appears to hover in mid-air. The driver also receives key information intuitively from the ID. Light – an interactive light strip between the A-pillars.
In conclusion, the coolest concept cars of 2023 showcase the incredible potential of electric and autonomous vehicle technologies.
From ultra-efficient sedans to luxurious autonomous pods, these innovative designs are shaping the future of transportation. As automakers continue to push the boundaries of what is possible, we can expect even more exciting developments in the coming years.
