Electric Cars Import in Nepal [Shrawan-Magh]

Imports of electric cars fell sharply in Nepal in the month of Magh. Of the 1,103 units of electric cars imported in the six months from Shrawan to Poush, only 88 units were imported in Magh, according to the customs department.

Electric Cars Import from China fell sharply in Magh. While BYD has imported 10 units from China, MG has imported only 2 units.

Similarly, Tata is the company that brought the most electric cars to Nepal in Magh. Data from the customs department shows that Tata imported 46 units of Nexon and Tigor EV.

Hyundai has brought 30 units of electric vehicles to Nepal in the month of Magh. Hyundai Nepal has imported Kona EV and Ioniq 5 in Nepal.
