The fuel injection system (fi) is an advanced system used in an engine where the introduction of fuel in the automotive engine is made by the means of an injector. Its main function is to reduce air pollution by sending a mixture of fuel and air to the engine according to the time and need and further enhance less fuel usage.
It is equipped with 8 different sensors that determine the mixture of fuel and air in eight ways based on vehicle speed, atmosphere, outside temperature, amount of acceleration, and more. It doesn’t always have the same composition as that of the carburetor.

The amount of real-time mixture (air and fuel) varies according to the need in FI. For instance, during winters, FI is easier to start than a carburetor motorcycle. In such weather, the amount of fuel in the mixture sent by Fi to the engine is more than air.
While increasing the accelerator, Fi engines don’t increase the flow of fuel usage. It only consumes the required amount of fuel by determining the amount of fuel and air required. As a result, it is possible to travel a lot on less fuel while increasing the vehicle’s mileage by up to 14%. Additionally, unlike carburetor engines, fi-engines also help in saving the environment with less pollution delivered while also reducing the vehicle operating costs.

Fi technology also works on the mechanism to stop the flow of fuel if the motorcycle is tilted more than necessary. This feature prevents the overflow of fuel even during harsh motorcycle crashes/accidents.
