The ban imposed in Kathmandu Valley has been further extended for a week after the meeting between the CDOs of all the 3 districts was held yesterday.
However, the Chief District Officers have planned to slightly loosen down the lockdown allowing some services to open. The authority has now decided to allow fruit and stationery shops to operate till 11 am. Earlier, the timing for shop opening was only up to 9 am.
Similarly, it has also been decided to allow hardware and workshops to open from 4 pm. Additionally, works related to agriculture, delivery services, and finance and co-operative services are also allowed to operate.
Vehicles other than the designated ones will be barred from entering the Kathmandu Valley. Vehicle repair workshops can be operated till 9 pm.
