3 Car Models from Great Wall Motors and Havel to be imported in Nepal during lockdown

Between the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, three new models from Chinese carmakers Havel and Greatwall are being imported into the Nepali market. Havel automotive owned by the Chinese automaker Great Wall Motors and the parent company itself is importing two new SUVs and a pickup truck amid this lockdown.  

VG Implex Pvt. Ltd. under Vishal Group will be importing these vehicles in the Nepali market.  

The three-car models to be imported in Nepal are Havel Jolion, Havel H6 SUV, GWM’s Poer Pickup. All these models are the top-selling ones in the Chinese market.  

Havel Jolion  

• Engine Type: 1.5L turbocharged Petrol 

• Displacement: 1497cc 

• Max Power: 147.5bhp at 5900rpm  

• Max Torque: 210Nm at 4500rpm 

• Gearbox: 6MT/7DCT 

• Drivetype: 2WD 

• Length x Width x Height (in mm): 4472 x 1814 x 1619 

• Wheelbase (mm): 2700 

• Ground Clearance (mm): 168 

• No. of airbags: 2

Havel H6

Launch Date, Price? 

The company has stated that these models will be arriving in Nepal within 15 days. However, the sales and distribution will only start after the lockdown is lifted in the country. 

The company has not disclosed the price and other details of any of these models yet. For that, we must wait until its official launch.
