This year, the American Motorcycle company is all set to launch its first new Electric Motorcycle, The LiveWire. As electrification has been a chief part of today’s Automotive Industry, Harley Davidson is also set to go green this year. The company has announced to reveal the detailed features of their new electric model, LiveWire in CES 2019.

More on, shedding light on the specifications of the bike, this beast is fully battery powered while LiveWire will lack the V-twin engine, unlike the previous models. This two-wheeler can sprint at the speed of 0-60 mph under 3.5 seconds.

The company reveals that LiveWire can provide a mileage of around 180 km on a full charge. Since the company has installed an automatic gearing system in the machine, riders need not release clutch or shift gears to control their riding speed. The LiveWire is equipped with dual-disc Brembo Monoblock brakes enhanced with an anti-lock brake control system. H-D/Michelin Scorcher tires are installed on the discs.

LiveWire comes with a color touch screen at the front which displays the control information to the riders. Also, the display can be customized by the riders while Harley has designed a specific smartphone application named H-D Connect which remotely connects and helps to monitor the charging status and other information of the bike.

Harley Davidson has planned to launch and sell this new beast, the LiveWire around the fall of 2019 while as per source, the pricing for the bike will approximately be around $30,000.
