Hero MotoCorp, the world's largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, and Harley-Davidson, the world's most desirable motorcycle brand, have taken another critical step ahead in their journey together in India.
Hero MotoCorp, a motorcycle and scooter manufacturer and the exclusive Harley-Davidson distributor in India, announced the Nightster.
The 2022 Harley-Davidson Nightster model is a development of the original Harley-Davidson Sportster, optimized for exceptional performance and style while keeping the Sportster model shape.
Nightster is also outfitted with Harley-Davidson Rider Safety Enhancements, a set of technology meant to adapt motorcycle performance to available traction during acceleration, deceleration, and stopping.
The Harley-Davidson Nightster motorcycle is the next chapter in the Sportster saga. The Nightster is available as a Completely Built-up Unit (CBU) at all Harley-Davidson outlets in India.
What can be expected from the product?
"Nightster is engineered for nimble performance and distinctive style based on a heritage laid 65 years ago, and we are thrilled to share this new chapter in the Sportster legacy with our clients in India," said Harley-Davidson's managing director.
"We have already seen an incredible response to the Sportster S in India, and we are optimistic that this new best-in-class offering will be enthusiastically received by our customers."
Design and Display
Nightster is all-new from the bottom - up, with a lean, low, and powerful appearance that conjures historic Sportster model aesthetic elements, most notably in the exposed rear shock absorbers and the shape of an airbox lid that evokes the iconic Sportster wood fuel tank.
The Nightster model is available in Vivid Black, Gunship Grey, and Redline Red for 2022.
Performances and Engine
The Nightster combines a compact, lightweight chassis with a powerful engine tuned for strong mid-range performance, making it ideal for handling urban traffic and driving down winding backroads. The new Revolution Max 975T powerplant is at the core of the 2022 Nightster model.
It's a liquid-cooled, 60-degree V-Twin with a torque curve that stays flat over the powerband - and engine performance that's engineered to give quick acceleration and solid power through the mid-range.
The 2022 Nightster model has the on-demand performance of the new Revolution Max 975T motor as well as a slew of modern electronic rider aids and features.
For Debut
To commemorate the debut of the Harley-Davidson Nightster motorcycle in India, Hero MotoCorp sponsored a novel and thrilling nationwide social media campaign called 'The World's Best Job' to find a candidate for the brand manager post in Hero MotoCorp's Harley-Davidson Business Unit.
Dr. Aneeka Arora, a 23-year-old Dentist, from Rohtak, Haryana was announced as the successful candidate for ‘The World’s Best Job’.
