After the massive success of Honda Highness CB350, Honda India has again launched the sportier version of the roadster, the Honda CB 350RS. The motorcycle has arrived in two different variants- one with a dual-tone color scheme and the other in a single-solid one.
Comparing the new beast with its sibling, the new CB 350RS has undergone various mechanical changes. The new café racer gets a distinguish design followed in its tank along with a much tidier tail section. Unlike the highness, this one has arrived with all-LED lighting and a digital-analog instrument cluster.
The all-black theme given in this model intensifies more of its sportier look. The frames, chassis, and some mechanical elements also are common in the siblings. Well, let’s have a quick look out at some other details of the roadster.
Engine Section
The new Honda CB 350RS is based on the same engine platform as the H’ness CB350 while the engine specs are also the same. The two-wheeler is powered by a 348cc, single-cylinder engine that delivers a power of 20.8bhp at 5500rpm alongside a peak torque of 30Nm at 3000rpm.
The CB350RS engine is mated with a 5-speed gearbox transmission while this one comes with a slip and assist clutch.
Braking and Tyres
The two-wheeler also gets dual-channel ABS with a 310mm disc up front and a 240mm disc at the rear.
Other features
The new Honda CB350RS shares the same 15L fuel tank and round LED headlight as the Honda H’ness CB350. The instrument cluster on the front delivers details such as traction control, side stand indicator, gear position indicator, battery voltage, real-time mileage and more. Excitingly, you will also get Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) feature in the machine which has a switch on/off option.
