Honda hits new milestone | More than 30 lakhs units of bikes and scooter exported

Honda India has completed the milestone of exporting 3 million motorcycles and scooters to its customers. The company said that it has started exporting Activa scooters in 2001 and has succeeded in exporting such a large number of two-wheelers after completing 21 years.

Honda has been exporting a total of 18 models of bikes including Activa and Dio scooters. Established as India's second-largest two-wheeler manufacturer, the brand managed to export only 1.5 million units of bikes within 16 years of its launch. As the demand for these bikes is increasing even in the international market, it has exported another 1.5 million units in the last five years.

Honda has been exporting these bikes and scooters manufactured in India to more than 29 countries of the world including the USA, Japan, and Europe. Honda currently has four manufacturing units in India.

The two-wheeler of this brand, which is considered very popular even in the Nepali market, is being imported in the number of more than 50,000 units annually.
