Honor Pad 8, a mid-range tablet, made its way into the Chinese market last month. The tablet features a 90Hz refresh rate, and a massive battery, and is available in three different colors option. The tablet is expected to launch in India soon.

Honor Pad 8 boasts a 12-inch HONOR FullView display. The IPS LCD supports a 90Hz refresh rate, 195PPI density, 350 nits brightness, and multi-screen viewing. Moreover, with a 2k screen resolution of 1200 X 2000 pixels, 1.7 billion colors, and an 87% screen-to-body ratio, the users get to experience a flagship-level visual.

In terms of design, Honor Pad 8 features a light and thin metal Unibody with rounded corners. It weighs 502g and has a thickness of 6.9mm.

Performance and Storage

The Honor Pad 8 uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset with a 2.4Hz (4 X 2.4GHz A73 + 4 X 1.9GHz A3) processor. It runs on Magic UI 6.1 based Android 12.

The Pad is available in either 4GB or 6GB or 8GB RAM paired with unchangeable 128GB storage.

Battery and Charger

The Honor Pad 8 gets its juice from 7250mAh non-removable battery which can be charged using a 22.5 Watt fast charger.

This massive battery can provide standby for up to 59 days, 14h of non-stop music (on maximum brightness), 14h of offline videos, and 10h of online classes.

Speaker

The tablet flexes an octal speaker setup with DTS:X Ultra and HONOR Histen full audio adjustment. Out of eight speakers, four audio units offer treble, and the other four work on bass.

Other features

For optics, the Pad is equipped single 5MP primary camera at the back. Upfront, you will get a 5MP camera for taking your selfies.

Besides, the tablet comes with eBook and dark modes, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and Bluetooth 5.1.
