How to check your License-Bill Book status after traffic fine via simple SMS text?

If your blue book or license is taken by the traffic police during the traffic operation, now it will be possible to know where and to which office the document has been taken. The Metropolitan Traffic Police Office has developed a Document Tracking System (DTS) for this purpose.

Currently, in Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur districts, it will be possible to know which office has the documents taken during the traffic operation.

How to check License-Bill Book status using SMS?

To check it out, simply Type “Echalan<space>FiscalYear and Chit No.” in your phone’s message box and send it to 34001. 

Example: Echalan 777812345 and send it to 34001.

After some time, you will get the information about which traffic police office has your documents through SMS. According to the Metropolitan Traffic Police, DTS will be activated only after you get a chit for a rule violation. 

Using this system, the person concerned will now be able to know which office his/her documents are in.
