Huawei launched the Nova 8 with the Kirin 985 chipset in China back in December. The device finally arrives in the global market starting with Russia but features a mid-range Kirin 820E chipset. Huawei Nova 8 Overview

Huawei Nova 8 comes with a 6.57 inches OLED display that supports a 90Hz refresh and 240Hz touch sampling rate. This HDR10 display has 1B colors, 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, and rounded edges. The device weighs 169 grams and is 7.6mm thick.

Under the hood is a Kirin 820E processor. This 7nm octa-core processor is a mid-range 4G chipset. The Chinese variant had a 5G-ready Kirin 985 chipset instead. For memory, the device comes with 8GB of RAM along with 128GB of storage. It runs on EMUI 12 based on Android 10 and features 3D graphene heat dissipation technology for cooling.
