Bookings for the Tesla Model 3 were opened in India in 2016, but so far Telsa has not been able to offer the car to Indian customers.
Customers were charged $1,000 for booking Tesla Model 3 in India. However, so far the company has not announced any definite deadline to start delivery in India, due to which customers are demanding a refund of the booking.
Although Tesla did not deliver the Model 3 car in India, it is being delivered in other countries.
According to the report, there are more than 300,000 units of Model 3 in the global market, which has angered Indian customers with Tesla owner Elon Musk and raised questions about his business strategy with India.

According to reports, many customers who have booked Tesla Model 3 are now demanding a refund. Customers have repeatedly asked Tesla for a refund, but the company's response has been disappointing.
However, the company refunded bookings to some customers last year.
News of Tesla's resumption of production in India gained momentum when it opened its office in Bengaluru last year. Tesla had said it would start manufacturing its electric cars in India in early 2021, but later said it would import cars from China to India.
