Jeep India has launched its much-awaited three-row SUV Meridian. The Jeep Meridian SUV has priced at INR 29.9 lakhs for manual transmission. The top-of-the-line variant with automatic transmission is priced at INR 36.95 lakh.

The company had already opened the pre-booking of the SUV in India some time ago.

The look of the Jeep Meridian SUV is similar to that of the Jeep Compass and Grand Cherokee SUV. The front of the Jeep Meridian SUV features an iconic seven-slate grille with bi-function LED headlamps, integrated LED daytime running lights, as well as attractive bumpers, and LED fog lamps. The rear features horizontal LED taillights, rear wipers and washers, and an integrated rear spoiler. This SUV runs on 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

It has a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard. It is available in both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive systems with a 9-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. There is no alternative to a petrol engine in SUV.

The Jeep Meridian has a length of 4769 mm, a width of 1858 mm and a height of 1698 mm, and a wheelbase of 2794 mm. The Jeep Meridian 3-row SUV is based on the Small Wide 4X4 platform.

Meridian has 3 drive modes Snow, Sand / Mud, and Auto mode. The SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 10.8 seconds and has a top speed of 198 kmph.

The Jeep Meridian features wireless Apple CarPlay and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto support too. Features include an electrically adjustable front seat, a 10.25-inch digital instrument console, wireless phone charging, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, a powered tailgate, and 9-speaker alpine source audio system.

The Jeep Meridian has over 60 safety and security features. The new Jeep Meridian has six airbags, traction control, electronic stability control, hill start, and descent control, a 360-degree camera, and other safety features.

The Jeep Meridian will compete with SUVs such as the Skoda Kodiaq and Toyota Fortuner.
