KTM has finally launched its highly awaited adventure tourer, the KTM 390 Adventure in the Indian market. KTM India has now started the bookings for its new bike while it will officially be delivered in the next few days.
The new KTM 390 Adventure is the debutant KTM adventure bike released in India. And for those of you who didn’t know, KTM has hit a big milestone in the making of adventure bikes across the International market. Its adventure bikes are very much popular among its International fans.
Well, now let’s highlight what the new KTM 390 Adventure has to offer.
KTM 390 Adventure is powered by a 373cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that delivers a power of 43bhp at 9000rpm along with a peak torque of 37Nm at 7000rpm. The adventure two-wheeler is provided with a bi-directional quick-shifter feature along with a 6-speed gearbox transmission. The bike’s engine is the same one that has been used to power the KTM 390 Duke.
KTM is also planning on adding a luggage system so it could look more adventure friendly. Another top-notch feature on the bike which could excite the adventure lovers is switchable, lean-angle sensitive traction control which can be the best companion across off-roads.
Moreover, speaking of the underpinnings, the suspension in the bike is handled by a WP Apex mono-shock which is the same one used in the International models of the 390 ADV. Similarly, coming on to the brakes, the bike is integrated with a 320mm disc up front along with a 230mm disc at the rear. And not to forget, the motorcycle also holds dual-channel ABS as a standard safety feature.
Other notable features of the 390 Adventure include adjustable windshield, full-color TFT screen with smartphone connectivity system, all-LED lighting system, and a standard 12V charging port.
The new KTM 390 Adventure will be competing against the Royal Enfield Himalayan and the BMW G 310 GS.
