HH Bajaj Pvt. Ltd., the sole distributor for KTM bikes in Nepal has officially opened the pre-bookings for the new KTM 790 Duke in the Nepali market.

The company had informed about the pre-booking via its official Facebook Page. The firm is soon preparing to launch the Naked Street Fighter bike in Nepal.

KTM 790 Duke Overview

The new KTM 790 Duke is powered by a newly designed powerful 799cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine which churns out 104.6PS power at 9000rpm while peak torque of 87Nm at 8000rpm. The DOHC motor integrated into the two-wheeler is mated with a six-speed gearbox along with the slipper clutch.

Braking is handled via twin 300mm front discs along with a 240mm rear disc on the back. The bike boasts impressive features such as lean-sensitive traction control, ABS, launch control, and multiple-power modes. Similarly, the 790 Duke gets a 43mm open cartridge WP front fork and a 12-stage preload-adjustable WP rear mono-shock which makes it perfect for firm suspension.

The motorcycle has been provided with four driving modes: Rain, Sport, Street, and Track while each of these modes differs with the amount of power delivery, traction control, throttle input, and more. Also, the track mode on the bike can be fully customized.

The KTM 790 Duke might rival the other beasts such as the Suzuki GSX-S750, Yamaha MT-09, Ducati Monster, and the Triumph Street Triple.
