Mahindra Bolero launched with dual airbags in base variant- Price, Features

Mahindra has launched its popular SUV Bolero with dual front airbags. Earlier, the company was offering dual airbags only in mid and top variants, but from now on, it will also provide dual front airbags in the base variant.

It has made minor changes to the interior to add airbags to the front passenger side as well. Other features available in the SUV will be the same as the previous model.

With the addition of airbags, its price has increased up to INR 16,000. The new SUV is priced from INR 885,000 to INR 986,000. It is available in both BS4 as well as BS6 models.

Its engine is derived from the regular model currently being traded. It is powered by a 1.5-liter three-cylinder AMHC diesel engine that generates 75 hp and 210 Nm of torque. The Bolero features audio system, manual AC, keyless entry, semi-digital instrument console, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensor, high-speed warning, Bluetooth connectivity, and USB.

Bolero is a very popular budget SUV even in the Nepali market. Mahindra’s SUV also managed to occupy second place after Scorpio in the total sales.

Its price in the Nepali market has been fixed from Rs. 34,85,000 to Rs. 36,50,000.
