Mahindra India has officially launched their new off-road SUV, the Mahindra Thar 700 in special-limited edition. While the company has confirmed that it will manufacture only 700 units of this new limited edition model.
The firm has also been working on bringing the new-generation updated model of the vehicle (Thar) soon around next year.
The Mahindra Thar has been one of the most loved and classic models by manufacturer as it holds a 70-years legacy of the brand itself. Also, this will be the only last time for four-wheeler enthusiasts to own a piece of this legacy as it has only limited units on the hold. Mostly in India, the Mahindra Thar has been one of the most loved and popular off-road vehicles.

The new special edition of the vehicle comes with an addition of Napoli Black shade on the outro while there is also an option for all-new Aquamarine color. More on, the other modifications include- black finish for the grille, decals on the side of the bonnet, silver finish around the bumper and a new stylish 5-spoke alloy wheels.
However, there has not been much of a working on the interiors. Only the noticeable update is the new leatherette seat cover that comes along with Thar branding on it. Similarly, on the mechanical segment too, there has not been much of a change except in the ABS.

The special edition Thar 700 is only available with 2.5-litre CRDe four-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine which is capable of producing 105 bhp power and 247 Nm of peak torque. The vehicle&rsquo;s engine is mated with a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox along with a low ratio 4x4 transfer case. The booking for the new Mahindra Thar 700 has already started around all the Mahindra showrooms in India.

The vehicle is now only available in India. However, due to the production of limited units of the vehicle, the Mahindra Thar 700 Special edition may not be released in Nepal.
