Maruti Suzuki has recently launched its new entry-level crossover, the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso in India. The S-Presso crossover was also showcased at the Auto Expo 2018.
The new Maruti Suzuki S-Presso gets the tall height, decent ground clearance and bold design somewhat similar to an SUV. The front end of the vehicle somewhat resembles the characteristics of the Vitara Brezza which inherits sleek design, chrome-laden grille, and a muscular bumper. Coming to the insides, the S-Presso gets a classy black touch on the interiors. The major highlight of the car is the round center console which packs digital instrument clusters along with the SmartPlay Touchscreen infotainment system which definitely has the smartphone connectivity feature. The center console also houses controls for the AC and power windows along with having a USB port and a 12 V socket.
Additionally, coming to the safety features of the four-wheeler, it gets dual-airbags, rear-parking sensors and speed sensing door locks. The car comes with a wheelbase of 2,380mm. The new Suzuki S-Presso gets a 1.0L petrol engine that delivers a power of 67bhp at 5500 rpm and a peak torque of 90Nm at 3500rpm. The car’s engine is mated with a 5-speed manual gearbox while it also comes with an AMT option.
The Maruti Suzuki S-Presso is offered in four key variants - Standard, LXI, VXI, and VXI+, and these further have 10 options based on trims and transmission choices. The variants include - Standard, Standard (O), LXI, LXI (O), VXI, VXI (O), VXI+, VXI AGS, VXI (O) AGS, and VXI+ AGS.
