Paramount Motors, the official distributor of MG Motors for Nepal, has constructed charging stations at two locations in Nepal. The company has constructed 7 kW capacity charging stations in Dhalkebar and Bardibas.
Stations have been constructed at Komal Hotel in Dhalkebar and Gunj Hotel in Bardibas. At the same time, with the addition of new Charging stations, customers using MG ZS EV will be able to travel long distances on the highway.
Customers have been complaining that the charging station of MG ZS, the best-selling electric SUV in the Nepali market, is not enough here. Including this, MG has reached 3 charging stations in Nepal now. The first charging station was set up at a workshop in Dhumbarahi. With this, the firm is planning to further expand its charging stations lineup.
Launched two years ago, the MG ZS EV is becoming the most popular EV in its segment. According to the company, the car delivers 110 kilowatts of power and 350 Nm of maximum torque, and its lithium-ion battery charges up to 80 percent in just 30 minutes (on DC charging).
Claimed to provide a mileage of up to 428 kilometers on a single charge, the SUV's battery has an 8-year or 150,000-kilometer warranty. In the Nepali market, this SUV can be purchased for Rs. 50.99 lakhs.
