Motorola has launched the 2022 edition of the Moto G Stylus. It is a successor of the Moto G Stylus 2021, which came with a built-in stylus. Design and Display

Motorola Moto G Stylus 2022 features a 6.8-inch Max Vision IPS display with an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels. The display here supports a 90Hz refresh rate, has an 89% screen-to-body ratio, and comes with a built-in stylus.

In terms of design, there’s a rectangular camera island on the back panel that comes in two different color options - Twilight Blue and Metallic Rose. The device is quite heavy at 217.5 grams and measures 9.45mm thick. Also, the device is claimed to have a water repellent design.

Performance

Running in the Android 11 OS, the smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 processor. It comes with 6GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage. Users can also expand the storage up to 512GB using a microSD card.

Moving on to the camera, Moto G Stylus 2022 features a triple camera setup that consists of a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide with 118-degree FOV, and a 2MP depth sensor. Upfront is a 16MP camera with a screen flash for selfies and video calls.

Moto G Stylus 2022 packs a 5000mAh battery that supports 10-watt charging. Motorola claims that the battery lasts up to two days on a single charge.

Connectivity options of the device include 4G, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Furthermore, there’s both facial recognition and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometrics.

Motorola Moto G Stylus 2022 comes with a price tag of $299 for the sole 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The device is already up for pre-orders in the US, while the shipping is said to start from February 17. If the smartphone arrives in Nepal, we expect the price to be around Rs.40,000.
