The Nepali auto market has always been under the influence of the Indian market as most of the vehicles currently sold in the Nepali market are imported from the Indian market.
And as the Indian Government has made mandatory for the motorcycle brands to include ABS as the standard safety feature in all the bikes above 125cc engine capacity. With this, slowly most of the Indian automakers have started to offer ABS feature in their motorcycle models.
There are more than two dozens motorcycle brands currently available in the Nepali market while all of these companies are striving to provide value for money products to its customers. And as most of the are started including the ABS system as a standard safety feature to make their models reach optimum safety, the competition among them has further taken a huge leap.
Many brands like Honda, Bajaj, TVS, Hero, Benelli, CF Moto and more are currently selling ABS featured motorcycles in Nepal. Here we have discussed some of the successful motorcycle brands in the country which have been selling ABS motorcycles in Nepal.
1. Honda
Honda is one of the oldest automakers in the auto industry. It has been selling its vehicles in Nepal for decades while also holds a good market share in the Nepali auto industry. In fact, Honda has the highest market share in the scooter segment of Nepal.
Speaking of the ABS feature in its motorcycle, the firm has only been providing ABS feature in its higher cc motorcycles such as the Honda CBR 250R, CRF 250L. Africa Twin, CBR 600 RR and more.

2. Bajaj
Bajaj is also the other automaker with a good portfolio in the Nepali market. The firm has been offering the ABS features in most of its motorcycles, even the lower cc ones like the Pulsar NS 160. Besides this, it has included ABS feature in its other models such as the Bajaj NS 200, Bajaj Pulsar 220 and, the Bajaj Dominar 400 which is integrated with dual-channel ABS.
3. Yamaha
Speaking of Yamaha, the Japanese automaker has also increased its number of ABS integrated motorcycles recently. The firm has been providing ABS features in its motorcycle models such as the FZ V3.0, R15 v3.0. MT-15, Fz 25 and more.
The firm has soon been planning on launching its NMax 155 scooter in Nepal which will also be coming with ABS feature in it.

4. TVS
TVS, which has also been successful in establishing itself in the Nepali market lately has currently been selling Apache RR 310 model with ABS feature. TVS is also popular in the 150cc and 200cc segment while the Apache RTR 1604V and 200 4V are two of its popular offerings. The firm has soon been planning on launching these two models with the ABS feature in the Nepali market.
5. Hero
Currently, Hero has been selling three motorcycle models with ABS feature in Nepal, i.e. the Xtreme 200, XPulse 200, and Xpulse 200T. The firm has soon been planning on launching the Xtreme 160 R with ABS feature while this model will be launched in the Indian market next month.

6. Suzuki
Suzuki is also one of the popular motorcycle brands which have been offering ABS feature in its motorcycles. The firm has been offering ABS feature in two of its models—the Gixxer 150 and Gixxer 250 SF.
Apart from this, the ABS feature is available on various other motorcycle brands in the Nepali market. Various other brands such as Benelli, BMW, KTM, CFMOTO, CrossFire and more are also offering this feature in their models.
