The New 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 has been released in India | Updated Features

Bajaj has recently launched the new most anticipated bike of 2019, Bajaj Dominar 400 2019 while the company has announced its price to be Indian Rs 1.73 lakh which means that the price has hiked by IRs. 10,000/- than the outgoing model.

While the company, Bajaj has put on some updates in the new model, they have considered it to be a good value for money. As the previous model of Bajaj Dominar 400 had received quite a good feedback in the market, let’s have a quick glance at what the new 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 has to offer.

The new 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 has received major updates in its engine, suspension and other small features. Beginning from the engine the old SOHC (Single OverHead Camshaft) unit has been replaced with DOHC (Dual Overhead Camshaft) motor. The company has also increased the peak power on the new model from 35hp at 8000 rpm to 40hp at 8650 rpm. The new Bajaj Dominar 400 comes with the same 6-speed gearbox engine as the outgoing model. The top speed of the new Bajaj Dominar 400 is 160kmph while the outgoing model had 155 kmph.

Talking of the next major change is the updated suspension where the company has replaced the conventional telescopic fork with an upside-down fork which has significantly improved the ride quality and convenience.

Other updated features include a new side stand, redesigned mirror, revised LED headlight cleverly designed to make it look more small and stylish at the same time. The braking of the bike is handled by the same old 320mm front and 230mm rear disc as in the previous model.

The new 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 also features an LCD instrument console on the front with a secondary display on fuel which provides additional information such as side stand indication and service reminder too which can be quite interesting.

Speaking of the wheels, as the older model featured gold alloy wheels, now the new model has replaced it with silver and black colored diamond cut wheels while the design looks the same. The new model is also available in Aurora Green Shade color while most of the remaining frame and design looks the same.

The new 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 can be a good competition for other popular offerings in the market such as Honda CB 300 R, KTM 250 Duke, Royal Enfield Classic 350 and other similar range bikes.

Since the new 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 has recently been launched in India, it is soon to be released in Nepal too within the upcoming months, while its pricing in Nepal has not been announced yet.
