That classic G-Shock watch we all grew up and are familiar with just got an upgrade and looking at the evolution of our wristwatch the upgrade seems perfect and most needed. Casio Computer Co. Ltd announced the release of their GSW-H1000 which is a G-SQUAD Pro smartwatch The $700 GSW-H1000 is the first G-Shock smartwatch from Casio adding to its Pro Trek lineup of smartwatches powered by Google’s Wear OS. G-shock is one of the most loved wristwatches here in Nepal also. A normal G-Shock watch price in Nepal starts around 12 to 15 thousand rupees with a sturdy look and build. 

As your typical-looking G-Shock watch GSW-H1000 also has a similar tough look to it. Not just the look also the specifications of the watch are tough as the GSW-H1000 has a titanium back and the watch is shock and water resistance down up to 200 meters of depth. With dual-layer always-on LCD screen the watch can show maps, sensor data, notifications, and other information. The watch provides varieties of athletic settings like running, road biking, swimming, and also some extreme sports like surfing and snowboarding.

The inbuilt Casio app gives the options for 24 indoor workout and 15 more activities. The watch is loaded with sensors as the watch has a built-in  GPS, optical heart rate sensor, compass bearing, barometric pressure, altitude, and more. Watch gives 1.5 days of battery life in the color display settings but can be expanded to a month of battery life in Multi-Timepiece Mode.

GSW-H1000 Price and Availability

The new G-Shock watch the GSW-H1000 is set to arrive in mid-May but in the US and other European countries. For now, it’s not even clear if the watch will ever make it to the Nepali market. Looking at the price of the G-Shock watch in the US of $700 and £600 in the UK you can say the new smart G-Shock watch price in Nepal to start around Rs. 90,000 to Rs, 1,00,000 even if it ever makes it to the Nepali market. The new Casio GSW-H1000 comes in red, black, and blue color variants.
