French auto manufacturer Renault is going to launch its famous SUV Duster with a new design. Renault has said that the design of this new SUV will be bolder than before.
After the demand for compact SUVs increased in Asian countries including India, Renault produced this SUV in India. But later, as the demand in the market decreased, production was stopped.
The company has started preparing to launch the new Duster based on its new CMF-B platform. For that, the company has announced an additional investment of 40 billion Indian rupees.
It is said that this new model of Duster will be available with a hybrid engine. It is estimated that this SUV, which is expected to be launched in the middle of 2024, may adopt an all-wheel drive instead of a four-wheel drive.
Due to the hybrid engine, its mileage will also be increased compared to its predecessor.
Duster was also available in the Nepali market earlier. This SUV, which was introduced 5 years ago by Advance Automobiles, the official distributor for Nepal, is still running in good numbers on the roads.
It was popular as the cheapest model among four-wheel drive SUVs available in the country.
