The local district administration has decided to execute strong restrictions on the vehicles plying on the roads of Kathmandu valley. Earlier, vehicles with their pass from respective authorities were allowed to ply on the roads while now they are restricted this rule creating a new time schedule for every vehicle.
Vehicles of government offices, banks and financial institutions, insurance, public institutions, and ISPs will now be allowed to operate only in the morning and evening. As of timing, these vehicles will only be allowed to run from 9:30-10 am and from 5-6 pm in the evening.
The authority has claimed to take strong action against the vehicles operating without following the new rule. Moreover, the CDOs have also decided to extend the ongoing lockdown till Jestha 20th with more strict measures, i.e. not allowing even department and grocery stores to operate for a week.
