<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Nepal Oil Corporation has proposed to give public holidays two days a week to reduce fuel consumption.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In a 10-point proposal to the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Supplies, the corporation has proposed to implement the even-odd system in private and government vehicles as well.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Similarly, the corporation has demanded a reduction of Rs 15 per liter including customs duty, value-added tax, and infrastructure charges on fuel.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In the proposal, the corporation has stated that there should be a public call from the government to use electric stoves instead of using LP gas for cooking and to encourage electric vehicle use and discourage the import of vehicles running on petrol and diesel.</span></p>
