Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G features a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels. The display here supports a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 800 nits of brightness in direct sunlight. Further, it gets the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. 

The pro model is even slimmer and lighter than its vanilla counterpart as it measures 7.45mm and weighs 180 grams. Oppo has offered a similar color shade of Morning Gold, Starry Night Black, and Star Rain Wish in the pro model as well.

Performance

 

 

The Reno 7 Pro 5G is powered by a flagship MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Max processor. Users can get up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM for the memory, and it has a single 256GB USF 2.1 onboard storage option. Like the vanilla 7, the pro model is also capable of providing 7GB of dynamic memory while playing games. 

You’ll also see the same ultra-dense graphite sheet paired with a superconducting vacuum VC liquid cooling system. The smartphone runs the same Android 11 based ColorOS 12 that we saw on the Oppo Reno 7.

Camera

 

 

For optics, the triple camera setup of the Reno 7 Pro features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor with omnidirectional focusing. It is then followed by an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor with 118.9-degree FoV and a 2-megapixel macro lens. 

Upfront, the smartphone debuts the 32MP IMX709 sensor – a “super-sensitive cat-eye lens jointly developed with Sony.” The lens is said to offer better low-light performance while greatly reducing noise.

Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G packs a 4500mAh battery with support for 65-watt fast charging. It also supports an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometrics. Connectivity options of the smartphone include  5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and a USB Type-C port.

Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G price in China starts at CNY 3,699 for the base 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model. It will also be available for purchase in China from December 3 along with the Reno 7 5G. . If the smartphone launches here in Nepal, we expect the price to start around Rs.72,000.
