Poco has finally launched the successor of the Poco F3 GT. The all-new Poco F4 GT has officially been announced and offers specs like Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, 120W fast charging, 120Hz OLED display, and more. As rumored, the Poco F4 GT is a rebranded version of the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition that launched in China earlier this year. In this post, we'll be talking about the expected price of the Poco F4 GT in Nepal, along with all the specifications and features offered by this gaming smartphone of Redmi.

Poco F4 GT Overview

Design and Display

Poco F4 GT features a 6.67-inch HDR10+ OLED panel that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a 480Hz touch sampling rate. The display further has a DCI-P3 color gamut, 10bit colors, Display Mate A+ certification, and protection of Gorilla Glass Victus.

In terms of design, the device has a metallic frame and an AG Glass finish on the back. There’s an “X” shaped theme on the back panel and the camera module, along with a thunder bolt-shaped Led flash. The X shape on the camera frame doubles as an LED strip for the notification light.

Performance

Moving on to the processor, the device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 high-speed storage.

Being a gaming smartphone, the Poco F4 GT features an impressive cooling system. The cooling setup offers dual second-gen stainless steel vapor chambers, covering 4,860mm² of total area. The vapor chambers can transfer the heat from the battery, IC, and processor to the second-gen white graphene heat spreaders, which are claimed to be 20% more efficient than the last generation.

Poco F4 GT packs a 4700mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging claimed to fully charge the smartphone from 0% in just 17 minutes. On the software side, the device boots on the Android 12-based MIUI 13.

Camera and Others

For optics, the triple rear camera setup of the device consists of a 64MP Sony IMX686 main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide with 120° FoV, and a 2MP macro lens. Upfront is a 20MP Sony IMX596 sensor for selfies and video calls. The rear camera module also features a flicker sensor that can detect the frequency of fluorescent lights and adjusts shutter speed and ISO.

Connectivity options on the device include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The smartphone offers the CyberEngine ultra-wideband X-axis motor, which is the largest X-axis vibration motor on an Android smartphone currently available. There are also magnetic pop-up triggers on the smartphone that uses elastic silicone material for a lighter hand feel.

Poco F4 GT Price and Availability

Poco F4 GT has arrived with a price tag of EUR 599 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. There’s also a 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, which costs EUR 599. When the smartphone launches in Nepal, we expect the price to start around Rs.70,000.
