Popular French Automobile Brand ‘Citroen’ is soon entering the Nepali auto market. Citroen is a well-known French automobile manufacturer founded in 1919. Citreon was the first-ever brand to mass-produce a car with front-wheel drive, four-wheel independent suspension, unibody construction, omitting a separate chassis.
Shangrila Motors has been appointed as the official distributor for Citroen cars in Nepal. Hemant Golchha, Director of Shangrila Motors, and Arnaud Duchimin, Vice-President, Sales and Marketing Officer, Asia Pacific had signed the dealership agreement.

With this agreement, Citroen products with a history of 101 years will be entering the Nepali market. The company is now gaining traction in products such as SUVs, Hatchbacks, MUVs, and mini-vans.
