Realme has launched its 9 Pro series smartphones in Nepal. The Plus variant of the series, dubbed Realme 9 Pro+, brings a Dimensity 920 processor, a 90Hz Super AMOLED display, and a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera. Realme 9 Pro+ features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. It supports a 90Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and gets the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. 

The Realme 9 Pro+ is super thin at just 7.99mm and weighs just 182 grams. It is offered in three color options - Sunrise Blue, Midnight Black, and Aurora Green. The Sunrise Blue version of the smartphone comes with an all-new Light Shift Design that changes color from light blue to red when exposed to sunlight.

Performance

 

 

The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G processor. It can be paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The Dynamic RAM Expansion (DRE) tech adds 5GB of virtual RAM to the smartphone. 

Realme has also added the 5-layer cooling system feature that has large vapor chambers, which cover 100% of heat source components and reduce the core temperature by up to 10°C. Further, the smartphone runs on the Android 12 based Realme UI 3.0 out of the box.

Camera

 

 

For optics, the triple rear camera setup of the Realme 9 Pro+ consists of a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). It is then followed by an 8MP ultrawide with 119° FoV and a 2MP macro lens. Upfront is a 16MP camera housed on a punch hole notch for selfies and video calls.

Camera features like 50MP Mode, Ultra Steady Video, Night Mode, Dual-ViewVideo, Tilt-Shift, Street Mode, Long Exposure, and others more are also available in the smartphone.

Realme 9 Pro+ packs a 4500mAh battery with support for 60W fast charging. The company claims that the SuperDart charge can get a 50% charge in around 15 minutes. There’s an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometrics, and the dual speakers are backed by Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio. 

Connectivity options on the device include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
