Alongside the Redmi K40 series, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has officially launched the world’s cheapest 86-inch TV, the Redmi MAX TV in China. Although being the cheapest in the market, Redmi doesn’t seem to compromise in its specs.
Most importantly, this one is an 86-inch Ultra HD (4K) TV and excitingly there is no other brand of TVs that can beat this price. Well, let’s dig into the detailed specifications of the new Redmi Max TV.

First on, the Redmi Max 86-inch TV is only available in a single color option, i.e. Black. The Max UHD TV adopts an 86-inch massive LCD screen supporting 3840x2160 pixels (4K) resolution. Hold your breath for a second because its display has a refresh rate of 120Hz and covers 92% of the DCI-P3 color spectrum. The Redmi Max TV also features other refresh rate functionalities.
Besides the big screen and premium inside features, you will get Dolby Vision and Dolby Panorama support on the TV. Fitted with 2x 12.5W speakers, the Redmi Max TV produces top-notch sound quality when integrated with Dolby Atmos sound.

Highlighting the ports, Redmi provides three HDMI 2.1 ports to interact with supported devices. More on, this one also has support for HDMI eARC that allows better management of connected devices. The intelligent assistant XiaoAI included in the Redmi Max TV allows users to fully manage the inside features and other display customization.
Seemingly, dripping down to the inside-hardware, the device is powered by a quad-core ARM Cortes-A73 processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 32 Internal Storage. The Redmi Max 86 TV runs on MIUI for TV 3.0. Speaking of the sturdiness, Redmi has pushed on a metal base and metal frame on the TV’s body for optimum protection.
