Samsung just recently hosted their online Unpacked event that introduced their four new Galaxy laptops. Galaxy Book Pro and Pro 360, Galaxy Book Odyssey, and a basic Galaxy Book are the four new models joining the Galaxy Book Family that were announced at the event. In this post, we will be looking at all the specifications, features, and price in Nepal of all Samsung’s new laptops.
Most of the event was Samsung talking about their different manufacturing process of the Galaxy Book so, we have brought all the major points and announcements made on the Unpacked event.
Portable Samsung Galaxy Book Pro
The Samsung Galaxy Book Pro comes with an AMOLED display and the laptop is super lightweight. There are two size variants of the laptop available, the 13.3-inch model weighs 0.87kg with a 63Wh battery while the bigger 15.6-inch model weighs 1.05Kg with a 68Wh battery. Both the models use a 65W adapter for the power supply.
With DisplayHDR 500 certifications you get a resolution of 1920 x 1080 px and brightness peaks at 500 nits. Also, the laptop has 120% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage and a 0.2ms fast response time.
Powered by Intel Core 11th generation processors you can choose between i3, i5, or i7 CPUs. You can pair the device with up to 32GB of RAM and up to 1TB of NVMe SSD and you get an Iris Xe graphics card on the i5 and i7 model.
Samsung Galaxy Book Pro Price in Nepal
Samsung Galaxy Book Pro starts at $1,000 for the 13.3” model whereas the 15.6” model starts at $1,100 in the international market. when the device arrives in the Nepali market we expect the device to start around Rs.130,000 for 13.3” and Rs.140,000 for 15.6” model.

A touch screen convertible Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360.
The Galaxy Book Pro 360 comes with a Super AMOLED display and supports both touch and stylus input. Like the Galaxy Book Pro, the device is available in two size options. The 13.3-inch model weighs at 1.04Kg with a 63Wh battery and the bigger 15.6-inch model weighs 1.39Kg with a 68Wh battery. Both the models use a 65W power adapter.
With DisplayHDR 500 Super AMOLED display the brightness peaks at 500 nits and has a resolution of 1080p.
You get the same processor and graphics option on the Galaxy Book Pro 360 as the Galaxy Book Pro. Here you can pair the 13.3” model with only 8Gb or 16GB of RAM while the 32GB RAM option is available for the bigger 15.6” model.

Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 starts at $1,200 for the 13.3” model while the 15.6” model starts at $1,300. We expect the device to start at Rs.150,000 for 13.3” and Rs.160,000 for 15.6” model here in Nepal.

Samsung Galaxy Book Odyssey, first laptop with NVIDIA RTX 3050 Ti Max-Q
The Samsung Galaxy Book Odyssey is a more performance-oriented laptop out of the bunch. This 15.6-inch laptop of Samsung weighs 1.85Kg with an 83Wh battery. The device uses a 135W power adapter. You won't see an AMOLED display here as the device comes with a TFT LCD panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1080px.
Powering the device is intel’s 11th gen Core i5 or i7 with Nvidia graphics card. You get the option to choose between GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Max-Q and Vanilla 3050 Max-Q and can pair the device with up to 32GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 1TB of NVMe SSD.

Samsung Galaxy Book Odyssey Starts at $1,399 in the US. When the device arrives in the Nepali market we expect the device to start at around Rs.172,000.

The Samsung Galaxy Book is the most affordable and basic laptop among the bunch but is still capable. Featuring a 15.6-inch TFT LCD display you get a resolution of 1080p. Weighing at 1.55Kg with a 54Wh battery the device uses a 65W power adapter.
Powering the device is intel’s 11th gen Core i3, i5, or i7 processor but you also get the option for Pentium Gold and Celeron processor. You can pair the device with up to 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of NVMe SSD. If you want you also get the option of adding a GeForce MX450 graphics card.
