Samsung Galaxy M62 gets Android 12-Based One UI 4.1 update

Samsung has released the Android 12-based One UI 4 update to various smartphones lately and now the company is rolling out the update to the new launched M series Galaxy M62 in a few countries.

The Android 12 update for the Galaxy M62 comes with firmware version M625FXXU2BVC3 and it is rolling out in Brazil, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. The update includes the March 2022 security patch, bug fixes, performance improvements, and better device stability.

The new update brings improved UI design with Color Palette and thicker brightness and volume bars, improved AOD and Dark Mode along with better widgets and options. Samsung also has improved all its stock apps as well. One UI 4.1 brings a cleaner camera app and an improved gallery app with shadow eraser and reflection eraser. Coming to the video and camera features you can record video as soon as the user’s finger touches the shutter button and capture portraits well as compared to the older version.

Different photo and video editing has also been improved along with improved privacy and security. The phone also notifies when an app accesses the clipboard data. Samsung keyboard brings more input layouts and options along with AR zone section for creating more AR avatars and add stickers and GIFs. Lastly the calendar, Bixby, device care and eye comfort all have been improved and also the sharing menu has been improved.

However, users of the Galaxy M62 can manually check for the update by accessing their smartphone’s settings menu. Once they open the settings and proceed to the Software update option, the firmware can be downloaded. Other countries will follow subsequently for the Galaxy M62 One UI 4.1 update although that detail is yet to be specified.
