As we all know two of the biggest companies i.e. Samsung and Apple has over 80percent of its market value globally. And today we are going to discuss these two giants launched smartphones named as iPhone 13 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.

These two smartphones are the real deal and to be honest both the companies have sky rocketed due to the other companies flagship smartphones. So there are a lot of heat in between these two smartphones and who will win today in term of its specs, features and pricing.

Design:

Coming to the design of Galaxy S22 Ultra, it comes with built-in S-Pen that features a latency of 2.8ms and AI-based coordinate prediction technology and looks similar like last year’s Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. Furthermore, the smartphone is made up of aluminum frame and uses the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ on both the front and the back panel along with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. Additionally, it has improved the handwriting to text feature and it now supports 88 languages.

iPhone 13 Pro Max, it comes with Ceramic Shield in front, textured matte glass back, and stainless steel frames. It comes with IP68 rating just like Samsung’s but the waterproof is upto 6m deep in water for about max 30minutes.

Conclusion: in terms of design, if you like punched-hole and curved display then you might prefer Samsung S22 Ultra if not then you can also go for iPhones stainless back which is greater than s22 Aluminium frame.

 

Display:

IPhone 13 Pro Max features a 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR display along with refresh rates of between 10Hz and 120Hz. It has a daytime brightness of 1200 nits of peak HDR brightness and the panels support Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG standards. 

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra comes with a massive 6.82-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with a QHD+ resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels. It comes with 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and has a peak brightness of 1750 nits. 

Conclusion: in terms of display Samsung S22 ultra wins this due to its stunning display specs whereas iPhone coming with inferior specs still its image quality and color reproduction is better than Samsung’s. Another one is the fingerprint in which Samsung has in display fingerprint scanner whereas iPhone has face ID Technology.

Performance:

The S22 Ultra comes with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Processor along with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1TB UFS 3.1 of internal storage. The smartphone runs on the One UI 4.1 on top of Android 12.

IPhone 13 Pro Max is powered by A15 Bionic with a five-core GPU, claimed to be faster and more power-efficient than last year’s A14 Bionic chip. This 5nm chip has a 6 core CPU with two high-performance and four new high-efficiency cores along with 1TB of storage and runs on Apple’s iOS 15. 

Conclusion: performance wise iPhone wins this due its impressive Chipset and overall performance, also as shown in GeekBench.

 

Camera:

For iPhone 13 Pro Max it comes with triple camera setup of three 12-megapixel sensors. There is a new 77mm telephoto camera with 3X optical zoom, an ultra-wide camera and a primary wide camera with an f/1.5 aperture. At front there is a 12-megapixel TrueDepth Selfie camera. In addition there are optical image stabilization and new Cinematic mode.

For Galaxy S22, it comes quad rear camera setup that consists of a 108MP primary camera with OIS alongside a 12MP ultra-wide lens, a 10MP telephoto lens with 10x optical zoom accompanied by another 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. Upfront is a 40MP camera for selfies and video calls. 

Other new camera features include Detail Enhancer, Auto Frame rate, and Super Night Solution. The device is capable of taking 8K video on the rear camera and even allows pulling out stills up to 33MP with an 8K video snap. 

Conclusion: its hard one to pick but I’ll go with S22 Ultra due to its more feature and better zooming option. But with 12MP triple camera of iPhone it takes a bit better clicks on its normal photos and videos than S22 ultra.

Battery:

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra comes with 5000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging, 15W wireless charging, and Wireless Power Share reverse wireless charging.

The iPhone 13 Pro Max is fueled by a 4352mAh battery that supports 20W fast charging, 7.5W Qi Wireless Charging, and 15W MagSafe Wireless charging. 

Conclusion: S22 comes with a bigger battery but that does not mean it last long. The iPhone lasts longer due to its level of optimization provided by iOS, so its lasts longer a single charge than S22. But in terms of fast charging S22 wins thanks to its fast charging support
