Segway Nepal's authorized distributor, I Hub Pvt. Ltd., has introduced a brand-new, reasonably priced electric scooter. The Segway N100 costs Rs. 2,60,000 in Nepal.

At the Segway Media Drive 2023 event held in the Segway showroom at Jhamsikhel, Lalitpur, the scooter was presented. The Segway N100 has a redesigned N-series with updated aesthetics and networking capabilities. It is ideal for people looking for a scooter with lots of features without going over their budget.

Overview

Design and Display

With its chic and contemporary looks, it yet maintains to the Segway design approach. It distinguishes itself from the competition because to its well-known unibody styling. It has a DRL strip and a 3-lens Matrix LED Headlight system. Moreover, at the apron, the LED side indicators are inserted vertically.

It has a fully functional keyless system; the key cannot be inserted into the key hole. Instead, only an NFC Card, App, or PIN code can be used by the passengers to control the vehicle. The back profile is straightforward. It is equipped with a single-piece grab bar and a strip-style LED taillight with housing-integrated LED indicators.

The N100 comes with a number of cutting-edge technologies, such as RileyGo!, LED lighting, and a digital display. Many sensors are used in smart technology for features like automated unlocking or positioning of the scooter using a mobile application.

Performances

A 2.2kW Segway Customized Brushless Motor powers the Segway N100. It produces a maximum of 100Nm of torque and 2200W of power. It can go as fast as 60 Kmph. A lithium battery with a 72V24Ah capacity powers it. Also, it has a range of 105 kilometres per charge and can be fully charged in 8 hours.

The large sized seat provides convenient space beneath it for storage. The speed and ride will be great for urban travel. 

Build up

The suspension functions are handled by hydraulic spring damping. A 129mm ground clearance is provided by the Segway N100. The item weighs 81 kg net (including the battery). The maximum weight that can be loaded is 150 kg.

1890mm in length, 675mm in breadth, and 1090mm in height are the measurements. The wheelbase is 1365mm as well. It also has a Dual-Disc brake with E-ABS and three different levels of regenerative braking.
