Price in Nepal

The Tata Curvv.ev has been officially launched in Nepal at an introductory price of NPR 56.99 lakhs for the Empowered +A variant. This is the only variant in Nepal. This pricing places the Curvv.ev in direct competition with other electric SUVs in Nepal, including models from Chinese and Korean manufacturers.

Despite a slight reduction in motor capacity compared to the Indian version, this decision likely helps balance cost and efficiency, making the Curvv.ev a compelling option in Nepal’s rapidly growing EV market. Interested buyers can visit Tata showrooms across the country for test drives and bookings.

Design and Architecture

The Tata Curvv.ev stands out with its distinctive design, departing from traditional SUV aesthetics. Built on the Adaptive Tech Forward Lifestyle Architecture (ATLAS), an evolution of the Acti.ev platform, the Curvv.ev shares its foundation with models like the Tata Punch EV and Tata Nexon K3.

However, it distinguishes itself through unique styling cues. The front fascia features full-width LED daytime running lights (DRLs) and double-stacked LED headlamps, while the side profile showcases aerodynamic curves complemented by 18-inch alloy wheels with aero inserts. The rear is accentuated by an angular window and a gesture-controlled tailgate, enhancing both form and function.

Performance and Efficiency

Under the hood, the Curvv.ev is powered by a 98 kW permanent magnet synchronous motor, delivering 133 PS of power and 215 Nm of torque. Paired with a 55 kWh high-density lithium-ion battery, it offers an impressive ARAI-claimed range of 585 km on a single charge. For real-world conditions, the C75 test estimates a range between 400 to 425 km.

The vehicle supports multiple charging options: a 7.2 kW AC charger can fully charge the battery from 0% to 100% in approximately 8 hours, while a 70 kW DC fast charger can replenish the battery from 10% to 80% in about 45 minutes.
