Tata Motors Has Announced the JET Edition for its Nexon, Safari, and Harrier Models

Introduction

Tata Motors is a leading multinational automotive manufacturing company based in India. The company produces automobiles, commercial and luxury vehicles, automotive parts, trucks, and SUVs.

Tata Nexon, Tata Safari, and Tata Harriers are some of the famous SUVs by Tata. Recently, the company announced the JET edition of these models.

JET Edition

As the name suggests, this new edition takes inspiration from business jets to offer more comfort and luxury. The newly announced JET models are based on SUV's end models: "XZ+" and "XZA+." The Jet edition of all three SUVs flexes an earthy bronze body and a platinum silver roof, which gives a starlight exterior appearance. Similarly, oyster white and granite black interior and a bronze finish dashboard are similar in all three SUVs' Jet editions.

Tata Nexon JET Edition

Tata Nexon is offering petrol and diesel engine variants in its Jet edition. While 1.2L turbo-petrol engine can deliver 120bhp of power and 170mm of torque, 110bhp of power and 260Nm of torque can be produced by 1.5L turbo-diesel engine. 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission options will be available for both the machines along with city, sport and eco-driving modes.

Other notable features include ventilated leather seats with Jet embroidery headrest in the first row, a black and white color cabin, a bronze finish dashboard, an air purifier with AQI display, an electric sunroof with tilt function, and a wireless phone charger positioned in front of the armrest.

Tata Safari JET Edition

The Jet edition of Tata Safari comes with a 2L turbo-diesel kryotec engine capable of producing 125bhp maximum power and 350Nm of peak torque. The transmission option includes a 6-speed automatic and 6-speed manual.

Tata Safari has included advanced and new safety features in this edition. The updated safety feature comprises a panic break alert, after-impact breaking, and driver doze-off alert. In addition, ventilated seats and Jet embroidery headrests ensure comfort and luxury.

The Harrier Jet edition is equipped with  A and C-type charging ports in the first and second rows, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated driver and co-driver seats, Jet embroidery headrests, and an Electronic parking break with auto-hold function.
